They come in handy when it comes to killing, cleaning and cooking the veritible bounty of rodentiae and lagomorphae that swarm in bountious abundance around her double-wide(trailer). And for shear pleasure she loves nothing more than grabbing a hard, oiled blade and ramming it home into her rough, leathery sheath again and again and again until blade, sheath and oil have all melded into one.
Since I owe her for a few generous favors she performed on...er...for me, I gladly picked up this token of my gratitude. I got the scorpion design because it matches her earrings and belt buckle. On seeing my blade, she squealed in delight, and actually continued squealing long into the night.
