Customer Rating: Summary: Black Tonfa Comment: When I first recieved the item, the box was completely open on one end, the other end was torn but it was still holding the box together. The product was not protected at all, they were just in a thin plastic bag which was also open. The product recieved some damage, alot a small dents and a little bit of chipping on the paint. Overall the product is still useable but its lucky that the product didnt recieve more damage. Customer Rating: Summary: Black Tonfas Comment: I ordered my tonfas on the 2nd of January 07 and didn't get them until the 11th. Pretty slow for standard shipping. Also these are made from RED OAK. NOT white oak as posted above. Packaging was pretty good. Tonfas were in perfect shape when I recieved them. Nothing was wrong with them. The warning stickers that the company puts on the tonfas (like they do with all martial arts weapons)can be removed by hand. After that then you can take some WD-40 to the tonfas to remove any sticky residue. WD-40 will take off some of paint and finish but not enough to completely remove the paint to where you can see discoloration.
