Summary: Practical and good value
Comment: What sets this suburito apart from other bokkens in this price rance is that the size and weight really feels more like a real sword.

The product description is accurate with its 45" measurement and although I don't have the means to weigh it properly, the added length gives a much heavier sense of weight when swinging it than typical bokken in this price range. Another issue that I have with most bokken is the handle space or lack thereof. Most of the cheap bokken I've bought in the past have about an 8" handle, just enough to accomdate both hands. However for a proper grip and control, the handle should be at least the size of 3 of your fists stacked on top of each other. This suburito with its 11.5" handle suits me perfectly.

Other points of interest are the lack of a handguard and the squared off tip. Both are features that are traditional and practical. The oval shaped handle area is seperated by a wider more angular blade section, creating a sort of flange that defines where one ends and the other begins, eliminating the cosmetic and functional need for the handguard. The blunted tip is also practical for a training tool used primarily for developing arm strength via swinging techniques and not stabbing.

Overall, the weapon does its job well without breaking the wallet.
