Customer Rating: Summary: Nice size, noisy operation Comment: The converta staff is good for traveling with as it breaks down to a convenient size. The staff feels good in your hands when assembled, good thickness and weight. The chains for the 3 section staff are inside the staff when assembled and rattle around as they are in a hollow compartment. Other than this there is nothing wrong with this item. Don't buy it as your only weapon but rather one that you can easily move to and from practice with when traveling with your full size staff is not convenient. It can also be sued as a spare for another student to use in order to work alongside you.I'm sure it will outlast the carbon collapsible ones but I have not used the carbon ones so I can't say for sure. It just seems that metal will outlast carbon.
