Rush Hour 2 is pretty overblown and it's even annoying enough at times to make one visibly wince. The writers had Tucker go from funny & clever in the first one to downright annoying and obnoxious in this sequel. Some of the sequences were entertaining however, mainly the fight choreography, and the 2 high-powered women (Sanchez and Zhang) help make the movie more interesting, but overall the film falls flat on plot and buddy cop chemistry. 2 stars for introducing some new elements in the Rush Hour saga but failing to deliver in enjoyment value.
